The Emma 3L Shell Jacket is made from a three-layer fabric with a 20,000 mm water column, taped seams and a PFAS-free water-repellent finish, creating a fully waterproof and highly breathable outer layer. It features a comfortable, generous and adjustable fit designed for female shapes. The jacket comes with several roomy pockets and functional details such as a helmet-compatible hood, ventilation openings, and a ski pass pocket. Ideal for demanding outdoor activities like mountain hiking, alpine skiing, and biking, while its minimalistic design makes it perfect also for urban wear in windy and wet conditions.

Care

We recommend avoiding washing if the clothing is not too dirty. You will save energy and water, and make the garment last longer
Machine wash in 40º, permanent press cycle
Wash with similar colors
Do not bleach or use fabric softener
Tumble dry at low level
Iron at low heat (put a thin cloth in between the jacket fabric and the iron)
Do not dry clean
In order to restore the DWR, you can iron or tumble dry (see instructions above)

Dette er et veldig bra produkt! Og: Som mange andre sier her, kjøp størrelsen du faktisk er, det stemmer faktisk! (Altså: Ikke den størrelsen man har begynt å kjøpe fordi mange andre merker selger størrelser som er generelt små…). For eksempel: Jeg er 33 år og 160 høy med gjennomsnittlig passform, men må ofte kjøpe M eller L i mange andre butikker for å få god nok plass til genser under. Etter masse intern debatt valgte jeg til slutt S, og ikke M (eller L for den saks skyld) på grunn av bildene på nettsiden til Astrid Wild; selv om modellen med S var høyere enn meg. Men!!! Den var, siden bildene på nettsiden faktisk er "true to size", naturligvis for stor. Jeg måtte bytte til en XS, noe målene på nettsiden egentlig tilsa. Den passet perfekt!

Tingen er bare at jeg har lært meg å ikke helt stole på de oppgitte størrelsesguidene (Det sier sitt om bransjen, og det sier MYE om Astrid Wild som kontrast, mener jeg).

Jeg har jo selv alltid ment jeg ligger mellom XS og S - for jeg er jo ikke spesielt høy - men jeg har alltid måttet øke til M/L likevell, for å få passformen jeg vil ha, og har da måttet "tåle" at klærne er for lange generelt, spesielt i ryggen og på armene.

Jeg skal innrømme at jeg har, enn så lenge, bare handlet Emma Shell jakke og bukse herfra, men jeg kommer nok kaaaaanskje til å handle mer (må bare spare opp først… og, ehm… det kan ta litt tid…). Vil derimot, ved neste eventuelle kjøp, være mer selvsikker i størrelses-vurderingen. (Emma Shell Bukse kjøpte jeg i en 38, og den passet perfekt).

Siden jeg måtte bytte størrelse kan jeg også nevne at retur/bytte ordningen til Astrid Wild er enkel og grei: Alt er intuitivt og smuud👌

Excellent jacket for outdoors

Finally a well-proportioned outdoor jacket, that lets me move freely. Large hood keeps my head covered even in a breeze without falling back to my neck. Fabric feels soft and details are clever and functional.
