Horse, Yoga, Love: Skinome x Astrid Wild

A sunny weekend in May, we, our sister brand Skinome, and Astrid Wild, gathered a group of wonderful women to spend the day together at the Horse, Yoga, Love day retreat. The theme for the day was "Freedom," and we explored what freedom means to us and what we can learn from our relationship with our bodies and horses, to feel more freedom in our lives. We could not think of a better way to start the summer. 

The day started softly on the mat to warm up our bodies, such a wonderful feeling to stretch your body, hearing the birds sing, and feeling the sun on your face.

The most lovely pause between yoga and lunch was the Vipassana meditation, where we all spent some time in silence, reflecting on freedom.

The pause and reflections led us to honest conversations about entrepreneurship, life, fears, and courage over lunch. 

Then we headed out into the sun again to get an introduction to Natural Horsemanship — the knowledge of how to relate to horses without threats, control, or violence, but instead leading them by using their own language.

An incredible day with incredible women, and we were so happy to do this together,  Skinome and Astrid Wild, as we share so many values and are both female-founded companies.
